WIP Wednesday #348 @TN&TN

I like having just one or two large projects that I work on during the summer. Mindless or repetitive ones are the best so that I can easily pick it up, put it down, and keep plugging away at it.

Today I am deciding the final layout for my large queen size Jacob's Ladder quilt and I'm excited to finally be at this stage!

If you are Canadian, please share what you're working on this week...we would love to see it. The link-up is open from noon Tuesday (Pacific time) until noon Thursday (Pacific time).

WIP Wednesday #347 @TN&TN

We had an exciting 10! linkups last week – thank you folks! Sometimes I'm thrilled to look at the little pictures and see that somehow they're all sort of colour-co-ordinated.

And I'm greedy and want more fabulous linkups, so what have you got for me this week?

If you are Canadian, please share what you're working on...we would love to see it. The link-up is open from noon Tuesday (Pacific time) until noon Thursday (Pacific time).

WIP Wednesday #345 @TN&TN

Happy Solstice, and almost happy Canada Day!

In honour of Canada Day I wanted to share this amazing, award winning quilt I saw at the Canadian Quilters Assoc. show in Vancouver a few weeks ago.

Called "Ice Fishing Village", it is by Brigitte Villeneuve, Diane Côté, and Doris Boivin and measures 68"x42". Click the link for closeups and to read more about it.

And if you'd like more Canadian quilts, check out these two posts here and here. They take great pictures and give excellent credits.

WIP Wednesday #344 @TN&TN

Hello my friends! My about-to-be-middle schooler tells me there are only eight more days of classes in her elementary* school career. Which means it's time for . . .TEACHER GIFTS. . . Who here does a handmade gift? Any suggestions for a gift guaranteed to be a winner?

If you are Canadian, please share what you're working on this week...we would love to see it. The link-up is open from noon Tuesday (Pacific time) until noon Thursday (Pacific time).

WIP Wednesday #343 @TN&TN

Hello again! I've pretty much recovered from my epic trip to Quilt Canada a week ago (see last week's post or my personal blog for awesome details!) Newly inspired by the quilts, people, and fabric I saw I'm spending a lot of time working on my projects and ideas.

If you are Canadian, please share what you're working on this week...we would love to see it. The link-up is open from noon Tuesday (Pacific time) until noon Thursday (Pacific time).

WIP Wednesday #342 @TN&TN

Oh that was epic! Quilt Canada had so many quilts to look at, to admire, and some to scratch your head about. That's what I *LOVE* (jazz hands!) about quilting – there is enough fabric, techniques, and patterns to suit every taste and style. So yes, I had a fantastic time at the quilt show.
